An introductory ramble about me...

Hello there!

My name is Kat Rose. I figured I would do an introductory ramble about me for my first blog post...Not sure where this will go, but I am feeling called to do it anyway so-Here goes!

(And that's how you start to be true to yourself...I'll get into that another time....)

A nutshell of me...as I am constantly evolving and growing...

I am a Gemini. A Communicator. A Creative. A Healer. A continuous project, and one VERY curious Kat... I love animals and nature. I love the woods and outdoors. I'm not so fond of mosquitoes but mosquitoes LOVE me. Like their favorite blood bar.

I talk openly about hard issues. I love rawness, reality, and truth. I can be very opinionated but I love learning more about all walks of life and thought....I debate and discuss for purpose of understanding and knowledge, not to argue/fight/be right...I'm quite comfortable with being wrong and allowing new information to change my mind.....

I am an artist of many mediums...Painting, Drawing, Crafting, Writing, Photography, Makeup, Singing (to myself), whatever my soul is calling, I go to...

I have a nostalgic love of Horror movies and all things Spooky/Halloween. This is reflected a LOT in my art...I sometimes do TikTok Reviews of what I watch. I was raised in a haunted house in the woods, with a spiritually sensitive father and have been interested in the paranormal and otherworldly ever since.

I am an eclectic Norse Pagan. I am Scandinavian in descent. I practice readings with Elder Futhark runes and love to learn about Norse mythology.

I am currently invested in holistic healing, mental health-Human psych-Human behavior....our brain. Which I don't think gets enough attention, and it baffles me....(It's literally your existence! Don't you want to know about it?!)

I work in an inpatient psych unit as a mental health counselor, (but I am not licensed.) Though I work with a wide array of mental health issues-I cannot give medical advice. I speak to entertain and inform....and share my story and thoughts. Maybe help guide or inspire others.

I want to heal others. I want to help others heal themselves. I want to be the person I needed when I was in a tougher place....

I work with matters of the human soul and spirit....Kind of like a 'coach' but I really dislike that term for some reason...It all comes from 10+ years of my own experience in the battlefield of mental health. I have Anxiety, Major Depression, PTSD, ADD, and possibly other things...But I don't like to put a lot of focus on the labels...I enjoy learning who and what I am in this existence.....I see others as their own little galaxies-Each special and complex.
